The Vision Behind Armor & Grace
Armor and Grace is a signature program housed underneath Discover Solutions trauma and mental health services. We have years of experience supporting women like you and understand the unique challenges faced by female first responders. Our approach isn't built on theory—it's forged from real experience in the field and years of helping women like you thrive both professionally and personally.
Ryanne Stellingwerf,
Seven years in Iraq and Afghanistan taught me more about resilience than any textbook ever could. As a military contractor serving as an Accountant and Manager overseas, I witnessed firsthand how trauma, stress, and the demands of service affect not just your work, but your entire life.
That experience inspired me to become a psychotherapist, but more than that—it drove me to specialize in helping people transition successfully from high-stress service environments back to civilian life. I've walked this path myself, and I understand how different trauma, depression, and anxiety look for those of us who've served.
My education includes a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and specialized training in Natural Health and Functional Medicine. This combination ensures you're getting support for both the mental and physical aspects of your wellbeing—because they're more connected than most people realize.
But here's what really matters: I've worked 84-hour weeks for seven years straight while managing an autoimmune condition and building my own business. I get what it's like to be a high-achieving woman who refuses to settle for "good enough." I understand the fear of not being able to have it all, and the pressure to hide when the stress starts getting to you.
Combat Trauma Specialist
Our Collaborative Approach
While Ryanne leads our coaching programs, Discover Solutions operates as a true team. We bring together expertise in psychotherapy, behavioral health, Positive Psychology, and Emotional Freedom Technique to give you a comprehensive support system. Our collective experience spans over a decade of working with first responders, military personnel, and driven women who demand excellence from themselves and their lives.
We believe in practical solutions, not lengthy theories. Our methods are tested in the real world—by real people facing real challenges. Whether you're dealing with primary trauma, secondary trauma, or compassion fatigue, we've seen it, worked through it, and can help you navigate it too.
When we're not working, you'll find our team embracing the Montana lifestyle—riding motorcycles, hiking, gardening, and yes, hibernating by the fire during those long winters. We believe in practicing what we preach about work-life balance.
You can be exceptional at your job and still struggle at home.
That doesn’t make you weak. It makes you overdue for real support
