ABOUT THE PROGRAM
What is Armor & Grace?
Armor & Grace is a six-week skill-building program built exclusively for female first responders, military women, and veterans. It teaches the skills nobody included in your professional training — how to come down from high alert, recover fully between shifts, and show up for the rest of your life with the same capability you bring to the job.
Is this therapy or clinical treatment?
Armor & Grace is coaching, built for women who are functioning and want to function better. There is no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no medical record. Ryanne is a licensed clinical professional counselor, and that clinical background informs everything in the program — but this is skill-building, not clinical treatment. If something comes up that needs clinical support, Ryanne will say so directly.
How is this different from therapy I've tried before?
Therapy focuses on understanding and processing what happened. Armor & Grace focuses on building skills you were never taught — how to shift out of high-alert mode, how to access genuine recovery, and how to be as capable in your personal life as you are on the job. Many women who found talk therapy frustrating respond well to this approach because it gives them something specific to practice and build on.
Who is this program for?
Women in law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, the military, and any high-stakes role where sustained alertness is part of the job. Women who are still performing well at work and quietly losing ground everywhere else.
Do I have to be in crisis to join?
Armor & Grace is built specifically for women who are functioning and want to get ahead of burnout before it becomes a crisis. You don't have to be falling apart to benefit from this work. The women who get the most from it are the ones who caught it early.
PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
Will this show up on my work record or affect my career?
Coaching through Discover Solutions involves no insurance billing, no clinical diagnosis, and no records that flow to any employer, department, or government agency. It's a private decision that stays private.
How is my information handled?
Your enrollment and participation in Armor & Grace is private. Testimonials are posted only with explicit written approval. Nothing about your participation is shared without your permission.
Can I participate if I have security clearance concerns?
Coaching through Discover Solutions creates no clinical record and involves no reporting to any government agency. If you have specific concerns about your situation, reach out through the contact page before signing up and those questions will be answered directly.
LOGISTICS & FORMAT
What's the time commitment?
For the self-guided program, plan on one video coaching session per week at your own pace, plus optional integration tools you can use between sessions. For one-on-one coaching, sessions are 60 minutes and scheduled at your convenience. Both options are designed to work around a first responder's schedule.
Can I participate if I work shift work or rotating schedules?
Yes. All sessions are recorded and available on demand. The tools and practices are designed to fit around unpredictable hours.
What are the program options?
Armor & Grace is available as a self-guided program — weekly video coaching sessions, written tools and practices, and a digital toolkit with daily prompts and reflection exercises, all on demand and built around your schedule. For women who want direct, individualized support, one-on-one coaching with Ryanne includes everything in the self-guided program plus private sessions and access to her full range of clinical tools and experience.
Can I do this if I'm already in therapy or on medication?
Yes. Coaching complements other forms of support. If you have concerns about how they interact, speak with your existing providers — and understand that coaching is a separate, skills-based process that runs alongside clinical care.
